Kirtland Records signs Smile Smile

Kirtland Records is excited to announce the addtion of Smile Smile to the label’s roster. The first release between the two will be an updated version of the group’s debut cd, Blue Roses. The re-worked version will include all new artwork, remastered songs and their music video for “Sad Song.”

Sonar Mgmt signs Smile Smile

We are seeing double! Last week we announced the signing of two-piece rock act Dead Twins and this week we are just as excited to announce that another duo, Smile Smile, has joined our roster. The Dallas Observer recently described them as “A sort of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah/Mazzy Star hybrid of sing-along folk, buzzy country-leaning tunes and uptempo/downtempo swings, with brilliantly unconventional songwriting and smart harmonies anchoring the whole deal.”
